1. Product Overview
AD916CC is a dedicated shielded interconnection cable assembly for Foxboro I/A Series Compact 200 FBM I/O subsystem, used to connect the rear interface of FBM modular baseplate to DIN rail-mounted TA passive termination assembly, realizing centralized field signal wiring separation between cabinet control area and field wiring zone.
One end adopts 37-pin D-SUB male molded connector directly plugged into the FBM baseplate rear signal port; the other end is matched with green spring-cage terminal plug dedicated to TA base, convenient for on-site wiring maintenance without soldering tools. The whole cable adopts multi-layer overall shielding + twisted pair internal wire structure, effectively isolating power frequency interference, motor electromagnetic noise and lightning surge coupling interference in power, petrochemical and offshore control rooms, ensuring stable transmission of weak analog, pulse and HART digital signals.
The wire core uses UL flame-retardant low-smoke material, resistant to high temperature, humidity and weak corrosive volatile gas inside the cabinet; the connector shell is reinforced with anti-vibration injection molding, avoiding loose contact caused by long-term cabinet vibration. Fixed standard length design unifies cabinet wiring layout, supports simplex and FBM redundant paired rack layout, and can be hot-disconnected during FBM module replacement without affecting other channel signals.
This AD916CC interconnection cable is standard matching wiring accessory for all 200 series FBM modules including RTD, pulse, HART analog input, widely used in new DCS cabinet construction, old cabinet renovation and spare cable replacement maintenance.
